The Aralia plant is a member of the Apocynaceae family. It’s an ornamental plant with smooth, glossy green leaves and small white flowers that grow in clusters. The Aralia plant is native to the humid forests of tropical America and grows best in areas with warm temperatures and plenty of sunlight. The Aralias are often grown as houseplants because they require little maintenance and have a very low water requirement. When grown indoors, they will thrive in any type of soil or container—including clay pots! The leaves should be kept trimmed to allow them to grow evenly and stay full-sized without crowding each other out. These plants are typically propagated from seeds or cuttings.
